OverDrive(Nov. ’08) has been using the DZire for the last couple of months and the small convenient features inside the cabin have kept the OD team so pampered that the luxury features feel obvious till you step inside another car.
The cabin light doesn’t go off for long eough to remind one to lock the car. There’s a buzzer that starts beeping when you take out the key without turning off the lights while the steering mounted controls for the stereo keep my hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
It took a puncture in the middle of nowhere for me to discover that the DZire had no tools nor jack in dickey.
The DZire has been driven mostly in the city this month by Over Drive and this reflects in the lowly average figure of 11.12kmpl.
