Kanda
Motors Pvt Ltd, a Pune-based manufacturing company, has boldly launched
its maiden motorcycle calling it the Thunder 100.
This bike is styled on cruiser lines and comes replete with a round headlamp
and simple instrumentation. It is available with a starter while a kick
does duty as well.
The teardrop tank leads onto a broad and comfy-looking seat. A utility
box fills up space between the engine and steering column, while the frame
runs exposed into a typical cruiser-style painted rear mudguard.
The Thunder 100 uses a blatant copy of the original Hero Honda inclined
CD 100 engine and claims 6.5bhp at 7000rpm as peak power. The motorcycle
comes in bright colours such as deep-maroon, a shell-shocking purple and
a shade of green that reminds of military camouflage.
