Association of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (AIAM)
is an apex national association representing all the leading
Vehicle and Vehicular Engine manufacturers. It addresses
issues relating to sustainable development of the industry
and is represented in various committees and expert groups
instituted by the Government for formulation of policies
on relevant issues.
AIAM disseminates information concerning Automobile Industry
through all its activities like seminars, conferences
and publications. The Association also plays a proactive
role in creating awareness on important matters like road
safety and environment protection.
AIAM organises, biennially, the Auto Expo series of Trade
Fairs in co-operation with Confederation of Indian Industry
(CII) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association
of India (ACMA). The Indian Automobile Industry has an
agenda for the future and AIAM hopes to be a catalyst
in its endeavour to create an internationally competitive
Automobile Industry.
